Food Project in Cambourne

The community shop launched in October 2021 and now runs 3 days a week at The Hub Community Centre, Cambourne. The project was set up to support people after the financial effects of Covid-19 and cost of living crisis.

The shop stocks essential long-lasting items such as: cereal, pasta, rice & noodles, canned foods, sauces & condiments, milk (and milk substitutes) tea, coffee and juice.

Fresh fruit & vegetables, bread and other refrigerated items are donated from local supermarkets (items vary each week depending on what is donated).

Household cleaning, personal hygiene, menstrual & incontinence, baby & infant products are also all available to be purchased.

Items are all priced at below retail price making it a more affordable way of purchasing essential food and products. Some items are free! We accept payment by Cash or Card.
