Mobile Food Hub delivering food to South Cambridgeshire villages
In June 2023, the Mobile Food Hub - Hope on the Go - was launched thanks to funding from South Cambridgeshire District Council, to support communities during the cost of living crisis.
Fresh produce and essential items – some of which will be free and everything else at below retail price – are being brought directly to villages around South Cambridgeshire to help residents with rising food prices. It is the first service of its kind in the district.

Mobile Food Hub
Fruit & vegetables, bread, cereal, variety of canned foods, pasta & rice, hygiene products and baby/infant products can all be purchased (subject to what is available on the day).
Hope on the Go currently makes weekly visits to the following locations: Duxford, Fulbourn, Linton, Orchard Park, Papworth and Willingham - and visits Fowlmere on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month. These villages were selected based on Census deprivation data, mapped against where there are existing foodbanks.
Anyone can access the Mobile Food Hub - No vouchers or referrals are needed and anyone who feels they may benefit from it – whether once or regularly – is welcome!
We accept payment by Cash or Card. The van will not visit on Bank Holidays or over the Christmas/New Year period.
